Explore beneath the surface

Life can feel heavy, messy, or stuck in ways you can’t always explain. Many people come to somatic breathwork because something beneath the surface is shaping how they feel, think, and respond.

Often, this shows up as:

  • A baseline tension that never quite releases

  • A mind that doesn’t fully switch off

  • A sense of disconnection from the body — living from the neck up

Even when things look “fine” on the outside, it doesn’t always feel that way inside.

What people are usually seeking goes beyond temporary calm. They want:

  • More space between what happens and how they respond

  • A body that feels safe and at ease

  • The ability to stay present without bracing or shutting down

If this feels familiar, explore this work in a session.

What we do in a session

At its core, this work is about staying with yourself — in your body — without needing to override, distract, or escape.

We use the breath to:

  • Gently shift your state

  • Bring awareness to sensations, emotions, and patterns

  • Create space for your system to soften and reorganise

As you settle into this process, what arises — tension, emotion, or habitual reactions — is noticed and allowed. Nothing is forced or performed. This presence is what supports lasting change.

Alongside the breath, music is used intentionally to guide pacing, support regulation, and keep your system engaged without overwhelm. As sound is closely linked to memory and emotion, it can help you stay present, access deeper layers safely, and integrate what’s unfolding.

At times, gentle hands-on support — like light pressure or diaphragm work — may be used to help the body release tension more easily. This is applied selectively, with your comfort and consent guiding the process.

Why this approach works

You can understand your patterns — analyse them, talk about them, make sense of them. But understanding doesn’t always change them.

Somatic breathwork works by accessing what sits outside conscious control — held tension, protective responses, and emotional patterns that haven’t fully processed. Not by forcing them up, but by creating the conditions where they can safely come into awareness.

There’s a growing trend toward intensity in breathwork — big releases, cathartic moments. They can feel powerful, but they don’t always lead to lasting change. When the system is overwhelmed, it protects rather than integrates.

What actually supports change is simple:

  • Gradual exposure

  • Repeated, safe experiences

  • Staying present as things shift

This is how patterns update — not through force, but through expanded capacity.

What tends to change over time

With consistent sessions, people often notice:

  • More space between what happens and how they respond

  • Feeling more in their body, instead of stuck in their head

  • A nervous system that settles more easily

  • Less background tension

  • More consistent, grounded energy

  • A quieter mind — without needing to force it

Over time, these shifts often come with additional benefits like improved sleep, calmer emotional responses, and greater resilience to stress.

Most importantly, these changes start to show up in everyday life — not just during sessions.

If these are the kinds of changes you’re looking for, you can start with a session here.

A Real Experience

“I got to a point where I felt myself fully relax and release tension I didn’t even know I was holding… Tears flowed, but with a peaceful smile across my face.”

“I’m still integrating it into daily life — and I plan to go back for more.”

Book Your Session

If this approach resonates, you’re welcome to experience it for yourself.

While a single session can be valuable, most clients begin with a short series to allow the work to build gradually and safely over time.

Single Session — $149

A gentle introduction to the work.

  • Experience the process for yourself

  • Begin connecting with your somatic (body-based) awareness

  • Create space for relaxation and initial insight

Well suited if you’re new or simply want to explore before committing to a series.

4-Session Exploration — $449

A guided entry into the work.

  • Build familiarity with the process

  • Begin to explore layers of tension and held patterns

  • Create space for emotional release and deeper awareness

This is where most people start to notice meaningful shifts — not just in session, but in how they feel day-to-day.

8-Session Journey — $799

For those ready to go deeper.

  • Work progressively through layers of tension and patterning

  • Support integration between sessions

  • Build lasting changes in regulation and self-connection

Best suited if you’re looking for ongoing support and a more structured process.

A note on continuity

A single session can open awareness, but lasting change tends to come through repetition.

From a neuroscience perspective, the nervous system updates through consistent, safe experiences over time. Working across multiple sessions allows the process to deepen and stabilise — so what shifts in session has a greater chance of holding in daily life.
