While oxygen is widely known as critical to our survival, what’s less widely known is that carbon dioxide is critical to our performance.

The foundation of human performance begins and ends with our breath. From improving concentration to increasing athletic output and improving recovery, our respiratory system is the keystone.

Optimising how we breathe, not only during training, but more importantly during the remainder of the day plays a crucial role in our success, delivering those small percentage gains that stack up over time to deliver the result we’re after.

As a Certified Oxygen Advantage® Advanced Instructor and XPT Performance Breathing® Coach, I’m passionate about sharing the science of respiration with athletes of all levels and from all disciplines, to help them revolutionise their performance one breath at a time.

At my Sports Performance Breathing workshops you’ll learn practical, scientifically-proven breathing techniques to improve your performance, including:

  • Increase exercise intensity while expending less effort and breathing less heavily

  • Simulate high altitude training to improve aerobic and anaerobic capacity

  • Improve energy levels, concentration, and mental focus

  • Decreasing breathlessness during physical exercise

  • Delaying the onset of fatigue and the buildup of lactic acid

  • Increasing the production of EPO naturally, safely and legally

  • And more...

These sessions are perfect for everyone from individual athletes to entire sporting teams looking to gain a competitive edge and can be delivered at locations and times to suit your training schedule.

If you’re interested in gaining a powerful, competitive edge this season, I’d love to show you how. Please get in touch to learn more about how performance breathing can help you or find an upcoming event
